Why do you love your church?

I love this church because the authority of God's Word is foremost. The sufficiency of God's Word is not merely stated, but demonstrated through faithful expository preaching. It is refreshingly apparent to see that the man behind the pulpit has studied and is well prepared to teach the text. This not only brings glory to our God but magnifies the Gospel of our Lord. The focus of all we do, be it worship, preaching, Sunday School, prayer meeting, the Lord's supper, or social gatherings is the eternal Word (Jesus); the written Word (the Bible); and the articulate Word (preaching). Each gathering is with an anticipation of a deeper knowledge of our God and an encouragment to press on.
